Rabbi Edward Maline, of the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island, sounds the traditional shofar to welcome in the High Holidays of the Jewish New Year, known as Rosh Hashanah. The shofar, or ram's horn, is a traditional instrument used in Temple's dating back thousands of years to Israel. It will also be sounded to mark the end of the Yom Kippur Service.
