Special to the Eagle/Jason Easterly Vinnie Gelo and his wife Judy of Marco Island have their Yorkie, Nico, blessed by Father Kyle Bennett during the Blessing of the Animals event celebrating the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Tuesday evening. Approximately 100 people attended with over 40 pets to be blessed ranging from cats and dogs to fish and hermit crabs.
