Mexico City's NASCAR legend Oscar Ruiz drew a large Mexican following as he is introduced and applauded Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Collier County Fairgrounds in Naples, Fla. About 1,500 people came out to see the final show of Monster Truck Xtreme Mania 2013. The event featured motorcycle stunts, quad racing, and the main attraction -- 8 monster trucks, at 10,000 pounds apiece -- smashing cars, airing jumps, and kicking up dirt. Fans were allowed to to meet their favorite racers before the show. 'It's difficult (to drive), there are more switches.' Ruiz said. 'I'm doing this for the Mexican people because there are no Mexican influences in the sport. (I think) I'm the first Hispanic monster truck driver.'
