A bus full of agricultural enthusiasts toured four farms most of the day starting at 31 Produce & Mining Co., Umbuzi Experimental Farm, LLC, Buckingham Farms and concluding with Routes Heritage Urban Food Hub. The event, The Annual Lee County Urban Farm Tour, was headed by the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences on a sold out $60 per person event. Participants were offered farm rides, pet goats, toured grounds, were offered lunch, given samples, purchased produce and asked questions along the way.
