Fire crews work the scene while residents react to the damage of their house Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at a house on 42nd Street SW in Golden Gate, Fla. Firefighters from Golden Gate and Naples responded to a kitchen fire after 7 p.m. that was contained in that location. Part of the attic was affected as well according to Golden Gate Fire Depatrment Battalion Chief Andy Krajewski. The home is currently uninhabitable because of smoke damage throughout the entire edifice.
