Over the years he has been known to support those needing a second chance 'What good is jail?' Ackerman asked. 'Unless it's murder it doesn't make sense â" I've been given second chances in life. If an employee steals from me I make them pay back three times the cost and give them one more chance.' Ackerman also has been a huge support of the U.S. troops driving his patriotic 2003 Chevy SSR and through donations, 'They are important because you and I wouldn't be here today if they did not fight for us,' Ackerman said. 'I feel they (veterans) have been mistreated.'
