  • Craig Woodward, one of the Starz, is raising money through private parties and other fundraisers for the Marco Island Historical Society. Woodward has already begun his dancing lessons for the grand finale event to be held Aug. 11 at the Mariott.
  • One of the Starz, Howard Jordan, plans to raffle off a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry designed by Scott Congress himself worth more than $1,000 for his charity of choice — Upon A Star Foundation.
  • Tara Trevethan plans a car wash and many other events to benefit her charity, the local Hospice organization.
  • Howard Jordan’s Talk Derby To Me party during the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 5, at Guy Harvey’s Island Grill will benefit the Upon A Star Foundation. Mint juleps, a hat contest and a raffle are among the celebrations to be had at this major fundraising effort. April 10th marks the first meeting for those involved with the 2007 Dancing With the Starz fundraiser.
