"It takes a few years to build these homes because the students are not just working on the house. They have other projects in their curriculum, so now we have the fourth year of graduating students who completed the last few odds and ends," says Bill Varian, president of the Collier Building Foundation during a ribbon cutting Monday on the house built by the students in the academy. The home, on Trammel Street in Naples Manor, was the third East Naples home completed by the construction academy since 2001.
