  • Lely quarterback Mike O’Regan of Marco, has a little smile as he puts on a new jersey for the second tiebreaker game against Immokalee. Lely started out as the home team, with dark jerseys when they shut out Golden Gate 15-0. The Trojans then put on white jerseys as the away team to battle Immokalee for the final district playoff berth. Immokalee won 13-6, joining Naples as the district playoff representatives.

  • Lely’s Matt Costello can hardly bee seen as Immokalee defenders surround him. Costello eluded them for Lely’s lone touchdown in a 13-6 loss to Immokalee, ending Lely’s hope for a district playoff berth.

Lely High School, Golden Gate High School and Immokalee High School compete in a three-way tiebreaker to determine the Class 3A District 14 runner-up.
