Golf Charities gifting brings many smiles

Jay Siemers, member of the Southwest Florida Golf Charities, Inc. gives a history of how the Bill Owen Classic was started to raise funds for area high school golf programs at the organization's gifting reception at the Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club. With this year's contributions to the schools and other charities, the organization has gifted $1.25 million over 19 years.
