Lely Band

Naples High band director Melvin Maxwell will retire this year after his 35th teaching band. Maxwell is currently the band director at Naples High School where he was once a student, but began his teaching career at Lely High School in1974. Maxwell asked to conduct the Lely Band one last time to open the annual Coconut Bowl rivalry between the two schools.
