This friendship menorah of children symbolizes the unity of this celebration of lights, and includes the dreidel as the centerpiece and holder for the shamus candle, the candle used to light the others on each of the eight evenings.   • The Solloways incorporated driedels into their Chanukah display in the lobby of their condo on Marco Island. The driedel game is played during the Festival of Lights by children, and the letters on each side are Nun, Gimel, Hey and Shin, which is translated to 'Nes Gadol Hayah Sham,' meaning a great miracle happened here.
