  • Darby Neil, 14, an Oakridge Middle School student, took the Collier Citizen to Rockefeller Center, to view Penny Harvest, a display of 1,000,000 pennies collected by New York City elementary and middle school students. The money is donated to charity to teach the value of giving back and good citizenship. Neil hopes to start a Penny Harvest here in Collier County.
