Wynn's Market employee Marileidy Diaz, right, scrubs the rims of a car while Kevin Grimes uses a hose to rinse the vehicle off during a car wash at Wynn's Market to raise money for the family of slain Ft. Myers police Officer Andrew Widman on Wednesday, July 30, 2008. "It's an opportunity for everyone to pull together," said Bill Homer, a Wynn's Market employee who came up with the idea after seeing support for the family from both the Naples and Ft. Myers communities. Several Wynn's Market employees joined in to help the car wash, which started at 9 a.m. and was expected to last until 2 p.m. "As long as we have a steady stream of cars we'll keep washing," said Christina Dinschel, daughter of the store manager. "Anything to help out the family." The money will be taken to 5/3 Bank and deposited into an account that has been set up in honor of the family of Officer Windman, said Homer. Ed Matthews / Staff
