A Marco Island police officer pushes back the public and the media from Caxambas Park after six people, four adults and two children, were brought to shore after their plane crashed near Marco Island were picked up off Cape Romano by a Good Samaritan, according to the coast guard. At 5:56 p.m. a twin engine Cessna that puddle jumps between Key West and Marco Island Executive Airport went down six miles south of Goodland. All survived and were taken to local hospitals with moderate injuries, none life threatening.
