  • 'We could have had a lot of fun with this one,' Former City Manager Bill Moss joked as he prepared to read a proclamation thanking former Councilor Glenn Tucker for his service. Moss made the trip from Naples to deliver the proclamations to the outgoing councilors. Tucker, the longest serving council member in the city's 10-year history, thanked everyone for participating in civic life. 'I want to compliment all of you for your participation in city government,' Tucker said. 'Thank you to the countless people who have volunteered for committees and showed up for city events and helped with city events. It's not something your councilors did, it's something you did.'

Both men were the only nominees for the posts.
