Prayers and praise for the fallen were on the minds of the 200 or so people who attended the annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Marco Island Cemetery on Monday, May 26. Among those present were VFW Post 6370, Boy Scout troop 234, members of the local Civil Air Patrol, the Marco Island Strummers playing patriotic music and many veterans, former servicemen and women, as well as local citizens.
