  • Master Chef Konrad Mayerhofer, owner of Konrad's on Marco Island, will be serving a Rodney Strong, 2004, cabernet sauvignon, with his specially prepared goose, cooked and stuffed as his main course for Thanksgiving this year with his family. His restaurant is open on Thanksgiving, so he's celebrating at a later date.
  • Chef Arturo Perez, left, and his son Edgar prepare to saute garlic in olive oil at Arturo's on Marco Island. Arturo Perez Jr., and his brother-in-law, Juan Cortazar work along side Arturo in every day cooking for this family owned and operated restaurant, and they will be celebrating Thanksgiving at home together this year.
  • Night Chef Jose' Carlos, left, of Pelican Bend Restaurant and Marina, on Isles of Capri, and Mike Cooper, manager, will be sipping on a glass of 2007 Mirassou pinot noir during their Thanksgiving celebration this year. 'It's mellow, and it's not woody, so it goes well with everything,' says Cooper.
  • Annie Cooper's Pumpkin Pie Recipe calls for fresh pumpkin, and creates three perfect pies for the ultimate ending to a family Thanksgiving. Top this pie with a favorite homemade whip cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg, to add a tasty compliment to your dinner.
