Friday afternoon at the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall, Rebecca Pintado of Naples places a long stem rose under a panel where someone has already left a memento. Pintado, whose deceased husband was a Vietnam vet, brought her expecting daughter and son-in-law to see the memorial because she felt it was important. "We take it for granted a lot of times- all these people who lost their lives and this war we're in now," she explained. "So many men died in this war, so we brought flowers just to honor everyone here. We can't forget and we shouldn't forget." Jennifer Whitney/ staff
