Taste of Marco 2009

Nancy Phillips, co-owner of Nacho Mama's Restaurant, hangs the last sombrero Sunday on her tent prior to the start of the Taste of Marco celebration at the Esplanade. Restaurants were not only judged on the quality of their food but on their display as well. It was the 19th year the Marco Island YMCA sponsored the event with well over a dozen different restaurants on hand to serve up samples of everything from bratwursts to pizza to bacon-wrapped scallops.
