Residents, realtors concerned about Marco's resort rentals

George Percel, who served on the Ad Hoc Rental Committee, recommends the city support owners who wish to rent short-term in residential areas by not limiting their options with a cumbersome ordinance. He recommended if an ordinance must be passed that it be the ordinance as drafted by the committee in summer 2008 which required registration, limited occupancy to 2 people per bedroom plus two more and allowed for one rental in a seven day period.
