Registered nurse Carli Clendenen administers swine flu vaccine to the nose of Christia Garcia, 2, while his dad Salvador holds him. Over 1,000 people in high-risk categories received the H1N1 vaccine at Collier's first H1N1 clinic Friday on the East Trail.
More than 1,000 people went to the former Kmart on U.S. 41 East and Collier Boulevard to receive H1N1, or swine flu, vaccinations from the Collier County Health Department Friday. The clinic was the first held in southern Collier County, with additional clinics scheduled in November with additional clinic details yet to be announced for December.
