Ted is marrying Jennifer Brunette of Marco Island, Florida and Chicago Illinois on September 15, 2007.  The wedding will take place in Lexington, KY at the family thoroughbred horse farm Rhineshire Farm.  Several national, state, and local dignitaries will be in attendance.
The Forchts, including Bogey their black lab and Wolfgang their German Shephard, are making their home on Marco Island Florida where Ted is a City Councilman and Jennifer is a graphic designer.

Incumbent Ted Forcht is running for re-election to Marco Island City Council and is among four candidates vying for three open seats. Results are expected Tuesday evening between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
