The City of Marco Island attempts to keep the seawall at 266 Seminole Ct. secure enough to prevent it from pulling down the walls of adjacent properties. The violation has existed for three years in the abandoned home.
Some say reducing code fines may help sell and fix-up Marco's abandoned homes. Others say a more strict approach to fines would be most effective.
