Textile Conservator Muffie Austin is fitting historical dresses once owned and wore by the late Princess Diana using a process called adaptation to manikins. Austin's skill has been perfected over her career of thirty-years making the dresses look as if a body is wearing the dress. The Von Liebig Art Center is holding a show displaying a rare collection of the dresses; part of the proceeds will go to the "Pink Ribbon" Society. © 2010 Kelli Stanko/Special to the Daily News.
