A close look is required to tell the difference between a real bill and the fake bills reported on Marco Island on Monday afternoon. The real bill, top, is greener, the counterfeit-revealing pen mark is yellow not black, the eagle is green not brown and the 20 on the lower right changes from copper-colored to green-colored depending on the angle of the light.
