The Creekside Golf Course at the Bonita Bay Club recently reopened after renovations were made, including new cart paths made of concrete instead of asphalt and new pavers in the entrance. Crushed coquina shells were laid in areas where cart paths cross the field of play at the course, in order to stop the golf balls from ricocheting off the path. Since taking over the Bonita Bay Club six months ago, members have agreed to spend $3.5 million on improvements. Lexey Swall/Staff
Bonita Bay Club is like a new club. The club is now owned by its members. There are new operating and employee policies, new committees, new staff, new programs – and most noticeably there is a new look.
