Prep Football: Golden Gate vs. Lely

A Lely High School football player has the initials of Dehvohn Payne, a 17-year-old Lely sophomore who died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle collision on Alligator Alley, on the back of his helmet. He also has the initials of former Lely football player Ereck Plancher who died in 2008 at the end of football conditioning drills at Central Florida University.
