"All these guys here are my brothers," said Proto. Many of the riders are Vietnam War veterans and have helped with these motorcades many times.
Some 500 motorcyclists formed an impressive caravan to escort the Vietnam Wall That Heals from Bonita Springs to Marco Island on Tuesday. The wall will be on display at the Marco Island Veterans' Community Park from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 5 p.m. Saturday.
