Island Country Club’s Tenth Annual Charity Golf Tournament took place Sunday, Feb. 27.
In a new development this year approximately 24 teams of adults were paired up each with a student to create a competitive 'five- some.' Member Terry McCreanor explained that the club is very active regarding student participation.
Wes Blackwell who is the President of the club's charitable foundation indicated that he believes they're the only country club to maintain their own charitable foundation.
The event has grown since its inception 10 years.
All in all over 200 people were in attendance with over 120 competitors .
