Central Bark, the city of Naples dog park, to open in February

City of Naples Dog Park, dubbed Central Bark, remains under construction but is to open in late February without user fees as long as donations and fundraisers continue to cover operational expenses. The park, located on Goodlette-Frank Road near Central Avenue in the city government complex, cost about $250,000 to build and was paid for by donations.

  • A dog-breathed bride is no surprise at Pets on Third. The show is to go on at the 3rd annual parade and costume contest on Third Avenue South in Naples at 1 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds from the event are to go to the city of Naples dog park, Central Bark, which is scheduled to open in February.
