First time Metal, Welding and Sculpture student Renata Vigoda had no idea what she was getting herself into but said "learning to cut and weld metal is so much fun". Vigoda is creating a Lion Fish Sculpture in which she will later decorate with cuts of glass. The Introduction to Metal class is an addition to the adult educational offerings. Teaching people to weld is unusual for a local art center, where classes such as watercolor painting or photography are more the norm.
