The Birth of a Musical - Following the path of "Assisted Living: The Musical"

This was the first poster for Compton & Bennett's ''Assisted Living: The Musical!' - the show is now on its third poster and fifth script. For 15 years, the play-writing, song-styling duo of Rick Compton & Betsy Bennett has prodded and poked, often times not so gently, Naples’ sacred cows in hopes of making you laugh. The pair’s latest satire, a cabaret-play hybrid titled 'Assisted Living: The Musical!' takes on end-of-life issues. The local duo recently sold their musical, 'Assisted Living', to a Broadway producer and are currently in re-writes before the show goes on tour this summer.
