Fort Myers store worker dies after robbery

Detectives with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit have released additional surveillance pictures from the Sept. 25, 2011, armed robbery that left a 29-year-old employee dead. One of the suspects wore what appears to be a Spider Man mask. The other suspect wore what appears to be a Grim Reaper mask with white and black detailing. If you know anyone that has recently purchased or possessed these types of masks, or if you know anything about this deadly armed robbery, contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 477-1000.
