  • Trisha Borges, of Naples, caught her first grouper about 50 miles off of Marco Island with live bait, one day before her birthday.
  • Merrissa Castro, of Naples, caught this kingfish about 10 miles out of Naples at Ricky's Red Reef using live shrimp as bait on April 3.

  • Nine-year-old Alexandra Reed of Spring Lake, Michigan, caught this redfish near the Sanibel bridge while fishing with her dad and Captain Chris.
  • Michael Latone caught a 35 inch bull redfish, weighing in at 12 pounds. Michael was using pilchers for bait in the Ten Thousand Islands backwater.
  • Angler Ron Musick with a 28 inch, 15 pound red grouper, caught on baitfish 35 miles west of New Pass on an offshore Fishbuster Charter with Captain Dave Hanson.
  • Ryan Allen and Tom Pastors, with a 35 inch redfish that they caught close to Mound Key
  • This 40 inch snook was caught and released in Estero Bay by Steve Garske of Marco Island, while fishing with Joe Morris of Estero.
  • Mark Butler caught a 28 inch snook in Doctors Pass with thread.
  • Tom Barbour of Luray, VA, caught this 30 pound king mackerel about five miles off Marco on Monday, April 9 with Captain Bubby Hail.
  • Daniel Honeycutt of Cincinnati, OH, with the mackerel that he caught with live shrimp while fishing six miles out of Naples pier with Captain Jason.
  • Keith Seleen from Dent, MI, with a 20 pound spinner shark caught off Cape Romano.
  • Nicholas Wetzel of Greensburg, PA, with his grouper fish catch aboard the 'Weis Guys II' boat off of Marco Island on Saturday, March 17.
  • Melissa Gould caught this eight pound bass in a lake out in Golden Gate Estates, using a white fluke for bait.
  • Ryan O'Janovac caught this bonnet-head shark while fishing on Sunshine Tours in Marco Island.

  • Casey Ambrose and brothers Brock and Bryce Johnson caught and released this six-foot long, 250-pound bull shark on March 4.
  • Trevor Adams of Muskegon, MI, caught this sheepshead while on spring break at Wiggins Pass using frozen shrimp for bait.
  • Casey Ambrose and brothers Brock and Bryce Johnson, with a three-foot long, 60-pound black tip shark that they caught and released on March 3.
  • Jim Jaross, of Naples, caught this 29 inch redfish in the mangroves by Fort Myers. He was using shrimp as bait. It was the first time he had ever gone salt water fishing.
  • Jim caught this speckled trout while fishing inside Wiggins Pass. He was on a backwater fishing charter with Captain Chris Abdo.
  • Larry Winston, from Bonita Springs, holding an eight pound snook that he caught and released from his boat on the flats in Estero Bay this week. The fish was 28 inches long, and was caught on an Exude plastic jerk bait as the tide started to flood.
  • Ryan Frazier caught this 19 inch redfish while fishing in Estero Bay near Weeks Fish Camp. He used a live shrimp under a popping cork.
  • Nick Oleksy with a 23 and a half inch gag grouper, caught on shrimp at the artificial reefs off Bonita Beach and released. From a Fishbuster Charter with Captain Dave Hanson on Saturday, March 31.
