LCBW stands for “Local Chapters of Business Women.” It used to stand for Lee Collier Business Women, but the organization is expanding, and so is the Marco Island chapter. Approximately 30 women joined the gathering, both members and those wanting to learn more about the club. The group was notable for the presence of some local heavyweights – figuratively, or course – including Collier County Commissioner Donna Fiala, Supervisor of Elections Jennifer Edwards, Marco Island Taxpayers Association president Fay Biles, and Beverly Dahlstrom, president and artistic director of the Marco Island Players.
