Catch of the Day: Feb. 2, 2012

Seven-year-old Robert Hennig, from Naples, FL, caught this largemouth bass in Belle Meade with a rubber worm on January 29, 2012. The bass managed to break Hennig's fishing rod in the struggle, but its efforts were no match for the young boy on that day.

  • Don Newcomb, from Cincinnati, caught this bass in Naples Heritage.
  • Crystal Sulecki caught this 20-inch red grouper on whole sardines while fishing aboard the "Foxy Lady III", 22 miles out of Gordon's Pass.
  • Leonard Scara snapped this photo at Tin City in Naples after a fishing trip into the Gulf in December.
