  • Michael Levaul and Pat McGlynn caught this six-foot bull shark in New Pass, Bonita Springs. The shark had gotten a reputation as of late for aggressively eating all the sheepshead in the area, and was found to be pregnant. The shark pups were released.
  • Josh Carter, of Naples, landed a 75-pound Cobia 25 miles offshore. He used a tube lure as bait.
He was accompanied by his father, Kevin, and Dr. David Schewitz and his son Adam.

  • Amber Baily caught this 24-inch snook on artificial bait in Estero Bay on February 19.
  • Captain Chris Workman caught this 22-pound mutton snapper onboard the Getsnookerd tournament fishing team's Contender, while fishing 62 miles southwest of Gordon's Pass using pilchards.
  • Kevin Weber, with a 30-pound blackfin tuna caught onboard the Getsnookerd fishing team's Contender 44 miles southwest of Gordon's Pass on a live thread fin.
  • Captain Chris Workman with a true black caught off of Key West on a live pinfish.
  • Riley Hooks, 7, caught her first big Black Drum on a recent visit to Marco Island. She caught the fish on shrimp while fishing south of Marco. Riley was with her grandfather, Jim Kenney (pictured).
  • Grouper and yellowtail, caught on live bait by Tony Verderamo while fishing with Derek Verderamo and Joey Cosimano 70 miles out of Gordon's Pass in Naples.
