Lexey Swall/Staff Bruce Novark, right, stands in the back of the room listening during a town hall meeting in the Community Room on the Marco Island city government campus Monday night. "I think here on he island, and nationally, we the folks...are paid scant attention," said Novark, a member of GOOOH Florida - a non-partisan movement to oust career policitians. "I think often the elected people are much more interested in their careers and their perks and their reelection." Marco Island City Council members held the town hall meeting evening to answer questions that were submitted about various topics such as water and sewer rights, a possible new community center at Mackle Park and city planning. The audience was then allowed to ask questions along the same topic lines and other issues in an open forum.
