Roger LaLonde Staff Workers get x-ray equipment ready for use to determine the extent of damage to an injured dolphin on Friday. It was taken from the Gulf waters off Marco shores and taken to the boat ramp off Collier Boulevard north of Marco Island. After x-raying the damaged tail fin it was determined that "Seymour" could go back into the Gulf and was released there/.
A platoon of marine mammal rescuers pulled off a remarkable seek-and-find mission Friday in the waters around Marco Island to aid an injured dolphin nicknamed Seymour.
