Roger LaLonde Staff Dolphin rescuers examine "Seymour" for the extent of injuries to his tail fin while another worker moves in with a yellow x-ray camera. It was determined that "Seymour "could go back into the water after they placed a satellite tag in him for the future. Several agencies were involved in the rescue effort in the Gulf off Marco shores on Friday and later released to the same waters.
A platoon of marine mammal rescuers pulled off a remarkable seek-and-find mission Friday in the waters around Marco Island to aid an injured dolphin nicknamed Seymour.
