CareView system installed at Physicians Regional Medical Center

A security camera mounted to the ceiling which delivers video to the nurses' station at Physican's Regional Hospital on Pine Ridge Road in Naples. The new system, called CareView, allows nurses to put invisible boundaries on the patient's bed in lieu of guard rails. Nurses are then alerted when the patient crosses over the set boundary.

If a patient crosses the boundary, it will alert anyone at the monitor at the nurse station. Currently there are eight rooms with CareView installed at Physicians Regional Medical Center-Pine Ridge, but soon there will be 79.
