Paddlers circled the placid waters of Smokehouse Bay Sunday, as the second annual Marco Island Paddle Challenge enjoyed a picture-perfect day.Whether out on the water – or in the water, as a few novice paddleboarders inadvertently took the plunge – or sitting dockside at the Esplanade, the weather reinforced why November is such a gorgeous month in Southwest Florida.
