Chris Bradshaw/Special to the Daily News Rush, the progressive rock band known for such hits as "Tom Sawyer" and "The Spirit of Radio," performs at 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre on Saturday, November 3. The Tampa concert was the only Florida stop on the first leg of the group's "Clockwork Angels" tour in support of its 19th full-length studio album of the same name released this past June. Bassist-keyboardist-singer Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer Neil Peart have been the line-up of Rush since 1974, though the band formed in 1968. Peart, also the band's primary lyricist, was the last to join. Rush is a nominee for the 2013 Class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The band will tour the U.S. through December and have European tour dates set for the Spring of 2013.
