– Kindergartner, Lilly Zaiser, center, and her classmates in Brenda VandeBogart's kindergarten class place their pinwheels along a walkway at the Village School as they participate in the annual Pinwheels for Peace project on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, in Naples. In honor of the International Day of Peace, students at the school created and placed a pinwheel representing what peace means the them as a part of the school's effort to teach peace as a leadership quality. Pinwheels for Peace is an international annual art project started in 2005 by two teachers in Coconut Creek, Fla.
Students at the Village School in Naples celebrated International Day of Peace by participating in the international Pinwheels for Peace art installation.
