Jenna Tuccio, 16, a junior at St. John Neumann is this year's female golf Athlete of the Year. She started golfing at 7 because she wanted to be like her older sister who was a golfer. During the district championships she shot a 66, which is six under par. She has broken course records and considers her team a family. She uses words from her coach, Jeff Jones, as a sort of motto. 'When you're alive you can do anything.'

Ryan Celano, 18, a senior at Community School is this year's male golf Athlete of the Year. He says that since last year he has improved his game by becoming more positive. His short game has improved and he helped his team shoot the lowest total score for the district championship and win first place. Next year he will be playing golf at the University of Florida. 'I just try to relax and have fun,' Celano said about playing the sport.
