Bark in the Park 2013 was sponsored again by SWFL Veterinary Specialists and benefited the Gulf Coast Humane Society. With perfect weather, attendees viewed and participated in everything from an owner-pet look alike contest and a pet costume contest to the Lee County K9 unit demonstration. Riverside Park was full where attendees and many pet related vendors like Petco met. On hand too were Greyhound and Golden Retriever adoption agencies who educated visitors on their causes.
