A rendering proposal for the new Hertz headquarters set to be built in Estero, Florida. More than just a building, it will reflect the rental car giant's new global brand and mission, including its drive to become more environmentally-friendly.

The desire to make the Fortune 500 headquarters sustainable made it impossible to incorporate Estero's preferred Mediterranean look in the building's design, said Peter Wang, a principal at Gensler, the architectural firm for the project.
