Ghosts, goblins, princesses monsters and more crawled the streets of Collier County Sunday night as trick-or-treaters hit the town, on the hunt for delicious treats.

  • The first Howl-o-ween canine costume contest at Camp Bow Wow brought out the ham in dogs and their people. His majesty Spencer Matthews won for the funniest outfit.
  • Dogs at Camp Bow Wow had their costumes removed before entering the various play areas, for fear the other dogs would take matters into their own paws. They romped, socialized, and kept up a good volume of sound.
  • The first Howl-o-ween canine costume contest at Camp Bow Wow brought out the ham in dogs and their people. Kelsey Butler's chocolate lab, Kryptonite, is garbed as a hippie in the kennel's spider-themed photo studio.

  • Meadow Varano, in a borrowed bikini top, won for sexiest costume.

Marco residents packed Mackle Park on Saturday to celebrate Halloween early. The annual Halloween Spooktacular, which is organized by the city of Marco Island Parks and Recreation, attracted crowds of families and children. Many of them dressed in costume.
