  • Richie DiMarzio, 8, gains momentum down the path of the long jump May 9, at Barron Collier in the Run For Fun track event hosted by the Kiwanis Club. The event was the second of eight consecutive ones taking place at the Cougar track.
  • While she says that the mile is her favorite event, Isabel Conejo, 6, gives her all in the long jump June 9, in the Run For Fun event at Barron Collier.

For the Love of Cats held its second annual Free Car Wash at Progressive Auto Center on Bald Eagle Drive Sunday, January 6th. The group washed 583 cars in 5 1/2 hours and raised over $6400.

  • Annie and Murphy Morris, two West Highland White Terriers, enjoy their seasonal home in Bolero at Tiburon in Naples.  Annie and Murphy belong to Greg and Joyce Morris and reside in Carmel, Indiana when not in Naples.  They don't mind the almost 1,200 mile straight through drive as long as there is an Arby's to stop at every so often. No sauce please, it gives the dogs heartburn.
